Although the feasibility study shows that the city of DeKalb would be a viable city, our work is not finished. We still need your support to get the word out to everyone that needs to know about this effort so they can decide for themselves.

c) Engage with your neighbors and others on social media
d) Contact your DeKalb Representative or Senator (see below) to express support for cityhood and the opportunity to vote on this. If you are not sure who your representatives are, go to https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/mvp.do
e) Help us get the word out by giving a donation.
DeKalb Delegation – Get Engaged
a) Co-sponsor a bill for a new city referendum in 2022.
b) Support and advocate for the bill amongst your colleagues.
Journalists/Media – Get Busy
a) Research the inequity in our community.
b) Use your platform to shine the light of your lens on why predominantly Black southern DeKalb has not gotten the opportunity to vote on whether to form a city or not.
